Is the Pathfinder Go water resistant?

Is the battery user replaceable?

Pathfinder Go features a built-in rechargeable 11.1V 2Ah lithium-ion battery; this is not user-replaceable.

How long will Pathfinder Go last on a single charge?

The Pathfinder Go battery will last up to 15 hours, depending on the features being used, and the volume at which content is being played.

Can the Pathfinder Go pair with another speaker?

The Pathfinder Go can be paired with one other Pathfinder Go to stream Bluetooth through both devices.

Can I use the Pathfinder Go with the ION Sound Control App?

Yes, the Pathfinder Go is compatible with the ION Sound Control App for firmware updates and additional settings customization.

How do I connect to the Pathfinder Go via Bluetooth?

To connect to Pathfinder Go via Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Then power on Pathfinder Go, and it will be discoverable. Once it appears in your Bluetooth list, select it to pair.

How do I update the firmware of the Pathfinder Go?

To update the firmware, follow these steps:

  1. Before starting the update process, make sure the product is plugged in and charging.
  2. Download the zip file with the firmware update and unzip it.
  3. Copy both files included in the zip file to a freshly formatted USB thumb drive (there should be two files included).
    • USB Thumb Drive Requirements:
      • Maximum Size: 16GB
      • File Format: FAT32
  4. Power on your Pathfinder Go and insert the USB thumb drive into the USB-A port on the back of the product.
  5. The product should recognize the USB drive and switch to USB mode on the display.
  6. Once the display switches to USB mode, the firmware update will start. The update will take several seconds. You will hear a popping noise from the speaker when the firmware update is completed, and the unit will restart.
  7. Once the product restarts, it will enter USB mode, and you will hear it start to play the MP3 file which is pink noise (static). Once you hear this, remove the USB drive from the product.
  8. You can check the firmware version installed on the product by following these steps:
    • If the product is not in Bluetooth mode, press the Bluetooth button to change modes.
    • Press and hold the source button for more than 5 seconds until you see the firmware version appear on the display. It should show “U3.6”.
