Some ION speakers are capable of playing music from a USB thumb drive.  If your speaker's USB port is labeled "Charge", that means the port is only capable of charging your phone, tablet or other device; it is not capable of reading audio files from a drive.  If the port is not labeled "Charge" then please see your user manual for instructions.  Any speaker capable of playing audio from a USB drive will have a section in the manual detailing how to do this.
